It takes a lot to lead a group of grown men on a football field. But what does it take to lead and guide them OFF the field? I got a chance to sit down and pick the brain of Mikado Hinson, chaplain for the Houston Texans football team. I never knew the intricacy this full time position takes, including being a part of training camp! When he explains it, it makes a lot of sense why he'd get out in the heat and into the weight room with them. Plus he shares a story of being there for a player when no one else was. When the lights are on you're a star. But off the field, it can certainly be lonely when real life hits you. That's why Mikado does what he does.
