A Compassion Nurturer provides complete care for mothers and babies from pregnancy through a child’s first year of life.
For families living in extreme poverty, pregnancy and infancy can become life-threatening without access to basic medical care, nutrition, and support.
But together, we can change that story.
Infant Mortality: Extreme poverty remains one of the leading causes of death for babies under 1 year old in Kenya.
Medical Access: Many mothers cannot safely reach hospitals or afford proper medical care.
Malnutrition: Lack of nutrition threatens both mothers and newborns during critical stages of development.
Maternal Mortality: Kenya has one of Africa’s highest maternal mortality rates:
