'I am still ALIVE'

10-19-2009| 'Rex ''Evans'

'On 06/23/2009 at about 1 in the afternoon I was on duty. I had been ill for a while prior to this day. I don't not have any recall of this day. I am basing this story on information from others who were there. I was in my patrol car. I stopped on Beltway 8 in Humble. I exit my car, and collapsed on the concrete roadway in front of my car. The temp that day was 105. I layed there for some time untill several citizens stopped and got on my radion calling for help. More and more citizens stopped to help. Some prayed, some even cried, but everyone helped. Numerous Police Officers responded. Some from Harris Co. Sheriff, Constable's Pct 3 and 4, Humble ISD Police and Texas Highway Patrol. They found me unresponsive and barely breathing. It was estimated over 40 units responded to aid me. This in and of itself was the begining of a miracle. Life Flight was called by EMS. The medics intibated me and began to breath for me. By the time Life Flight arrived, after being exposed to extreme heat and the hot pavement my core body temp was 107. A person is dead at 105. While in flight I was, in fact, deceased. They worked on me for nearly four minutes. Only by the absolute Grace of God, I returned. I was in a coma for several days after this incident. I can tell you, while I was gone, God showed me I was not living in his word. I was absolutely not going to Heaven. He touched my heart. My very Sould. I remember his touch. I remember his power and love. I am not crazy. I am not some one who imagines things. This was and is a very true and real story. God spared my life. There was a condition of his love, however, I will never tell a lie and I will witness to everyone, I mean everyone, I possibly can. I have lived up to this thus far and I will not ever fail. Your station, your programing, the Morning Show, get me on the right track and keep me there all day long. It is a team effort for all Christians to work together every day to serve God as best we can. Please continue to encourage and insire not only myself, but others as well. You are truely doing the Lords work. God Bless!!'
