'My husband and I moved to Indonesia seven months ago! Moving to a country where we don't speak the language, where the social, political, and religious cultures are so starkly different from home, and where we don't have the emotional and spiritual support of our family, friends, and church family presents challenges that we never imagined! For the first two or three months, we either didn't have internet access or it was inconsistent and unreliable! When we finally got back to reliable service, we were uplifted by KSBJ!
This is our first overseas assignment! We are looking for God's guidance for serving in our new home! There are so many opportunities to minister here. The needs are so great! It can feel quite overwhelming! The consistent message from our friends on KSBJ helps us stay focused on Him, reminds us that He can do great things with our weakness!
We immediately found a wonderful Christian fellowship and enjoy it very much! Please pray for us that we might find the best way to be God's hands and feet in our new home while we are here!
