Our Ministry Spotlight for the Awake and Alive Tour with Skillet and Hawk Nelson on Saturday, November 21 is Star of Hope Mission.
KSBJ and Star of Hope care about meeting the needs of the homeless and to reach out and help provide for them, we’re encouraging our listeners to bring blankets to The Awake and Alive Tour. It’s just one small step we can take to lessen the struggle of the homeless and encourage them along the way.
Star of Hope is a 102-year-old Christ-centered community meeting the needs of 1,000 homeless men, women and their children every day utilizing three Houston shelters. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs focused on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse.
